Carolyn Allen

Job Duties

Carolyn joined Faculty Affairs in April 2023. As Dual Career Program Coordinator, she provides current and newly hired faculty partners with personalized assistance to find employment opportunities. Prior to her position in Faculty Affairs, she worked within the Texas A&M University System and held several staff positions on campus, which include the Department of Political Science as Managing Editor of Presidential Studies Quarterly; College of Medicine, Texas A&M Health Science Center, Office of Public Affairs as Director; and Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost as Office Manager. She enjoys volunteering and has supported numerous fundraising efforts for Coach Jackie Sherrill’s 12^th Man Kickoff Team Foundation student scholarships. Carolyn comes from a military family and enjoys spending time with her three children, working on her family cattle ranch, gardening, Texas A&M football, and traveling. She holds a B.S. degree from Texas A&M University in Journalism.
