  • Rebecca joined Faculty Affairs in December 2018 as a Senior Faculty Affairs Coordinator. In 2023, she became Director for Faculty Affairs. Prior to starting in Faculty Affairs, she worked at Texas A&M University College of Medicine for 20 years in the offices of Academic Affairs and Faculty Affairs.

    Rebecca serves as a senior advisor to academic departments and colleges on faculty employment procedures. She analyzes and reviews documentation received from hiring departments and recommends the appropriate approval to hire. This includes guidance, planning, and developing a specific strategy for each case based on the particular facts and circumstances. Rebecca also coordinates processes for all hiring requests in the Electronic Faculty Hiring System (EFHS) for all TAMU colleges and ensures faculty members are in compliance with the SACS guidelines.
