Mansoor Khan joined Texas A&M in 2015 and is a Regents Professor in Rangel School of Pharmacy. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutics from the St. Johns University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Khan’s research interests are in drug delivery and formulation science, particularly in regulatory science of pediatric therapeutics, complex generics and quality by design with process analytical technologies. His research is currently supported by the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration, the pharmaceutical industry and the state. His transformational research led to the development of dose-flexible pediatric dosage forms with 3D printing to provide dosing for children of all ages. In 2023 he received the Lifetime Award of Distinguished Pharmaceutical Scientist for pre-eminence in pharmaceutical sciences, the NIPTE Distinguished Pharmaceutical Scientist Award and the   Ralph Shangraw Memorial International Award from the IPEC Council. All these awards are the very first for any Texas State pharmacy professor. Dr. Khan is an AAPS Fellow,  and is among the world’s top 2% most cited scientists. He has published over 350 peer-reviewed manuscripts and has been cited over 19,000 times.
