Join Faculty Affairs in congratulating the newly selected 2024-2025 cohort of SEC Academic Leadership Development Program (ALDP) Alumni Fellows!

The SEC ALDP Alumni Fellowship is designed for SEC ALDP alumni who serve in senior leadership roles at SEC universities (i.e., Texas A&M University), with an aim of providing them opportunities to further strengthen their leadership experience at partnering SEC institutions while enhancing their knowledge in a specific area of interest to the fellow and in the best interest of the fellow’s home institution. Texas A&M's fellows will begin their projects in June of 2024.

Get to know the 2024-2025 cohort and their project focuses:

  • Dr. Adam Barry (School of Public Health) - Dr. Barry intends to use this fellowship to inform the roles and responsibilities associated with shaping the newly established Associate Provost for Faculty Advocacy (APFA) position within Faculty Affairs.
  • Dr Tiffany Radcliff (School of Public Health) - Dr. Radcliff's fellowship project will focus on identifying common, effective, and innovative practices from other SEC institutions for early career research mentoring, research recognition, support structures, and retention for “rising research stars” around the time of tenure and promotion.
  • Dr. Cynthia Werner (College of Arts & Sciences) - The primary objective of Dr. Werner's project is to gain insights on administrative structures, programs, and policies that can be borrowed and adapted in ways that are likely to benefit the new College of Arts and Sciences [and Texas A&M University as a whole].
