Faculty Affairs’ charge is to elevate faculty and enhance faculty recruitment, development and retention to support the aims and scope of Texas A&M University. We are faculty advocates and support all phases of a faculty member’s career.
Faculty Affairs is dedicated to recognizing faculty and the impact they have on students, society and the world. We support and promote faculty excellence and their development as innovators and thought leaders.
Our website is the hub for faculty-related opportunities, programs, and procedures at Texas A&M University. We provide opportunities for faculty to grow professionally and personally and to amplify their accomplishments.
The Faculty Affairs website includes access to professional development workshops and trainings, faculty awards, our event calendar and news. You can also find information relevant to you as a prospective faculty member, a current faculty member, or the leader of an academic unit.
Faculty Affairs works closely with the president, provost, vice president for research, deans, department heads, Faculty Affairs Council, Faculty Senate, Council of Principal Investigators, Distinguished Professors and other campus leaders to develop faculty-related opportunities and resources using a shared governance model.
