Texas A&M Faculty, your Aggie Athletics Department needs you! Please encourage highly qualified and capable students to apply for Fall 2022 tutor positions. The Center for Student-Athlete Services requires tutors to possess a 3.0 GPA and must have earned "A" grades in the courses they intend to tutor - Communications, Political Science, Business and Engineering courses especially. The Path Forward Approved Working Group Implementation Report Highlights -
Outlined as of Approved Date - May 23rde, 2022
Working Group 19B – The Technology Management degree (TCMG) program will be moved from the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development (EAHR) to the Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution (ETID), and jointly managed by the College of Education and Human Development to ensure the continued multidisciplinary nature of the degree. Two tenure-track faculty, four academic professional track faculty and one academic advisor will also make the move. Both departments are aware of the differing requirements for tenure and promotion and plan to support faculty in the transition.
Working Group 20 – Reorganization of the Division of Student Affairs - along with the refinement, celebration and the expansion of the existing student “High Impact Practice” (HIP) services and elements - is essential to tactically influencing stronger student learning outcomes. While continuing to prioritize the caliber of student learning and development, investments into additional professional staff resources (and development) are essential to effectively increasing the reflective components of programs and services provided by the Division.
