New Academic Leader Orientation is for faculty members who have accepted a new appointment with a provost, vice president, dean, or department head title within the previous year. College/school leaders may also request approval to send individuals with other titles as appropriate. This orientation is required for all faculty with department head titles who have not previously completed the orientation. Academic leaders interact with one another and explore the resposibilities and rules integral to their roles.
